Scott Werry holds the position of Business Development for Orr Builders. This means over-seeing development pre-planning and developer services by working closely with the City and Government agencies to ensure that proper permitting and plan check procedures are adhered to. He is involved in Sales and Marketing and is always thinking about generating new business relationships with potential clients by introducing them to Orr Builders and the many facets of our organization. He also handles Customer Service to ensure customer satisfaction. Scott is known for his friendly demeanor and humor that never fails to get a laugh. With a knack for client relations, Scott has been a great asset to the Orr Builders team for the past five years.Professional Experience
After graduating with a Bachelors of Science degree in Industrial Technology from San Jose State University, Scott joined Rockwell Automation, a company specializing in industrial automation control and information solutions. Working for Rockwell for 17 years, Scott held several inside, outside and management sales positions, gaining valuable knowledge and experience in the sales and development field.In 2005, Scott joined Orr Builders. In his position of Business Development, Scott is responsible for customer relations, sales, and project support. Preparation and communication are two vital skills Scott employs as he coordinates various projects and work flow. He enjoys the challenge and variety that each new day has to offer and you can always find Scott willing and ready to pull up his sleeves to take on a new task.
Personal Life
Scott is a man of eagerness both in and out of the office. He believes strongly in treating others the way you want to be treated and boasts to be proud of each member of his family on a daily basis. In his free time, Scott enjoys golfing, cycling, home improvement, and food and wine. As a cyclist, Scott has completed the tour of the California Alps, "The Death Ride", a 143-mile ride through five mountain passes and over 15,000 feet of elevation.
