Steven Vance joined the Orr Builders team May of 2003 as a Project Manager. Now with over 32 years of experience in the industry, Steven plays an integral role over-seeing the diverse Orr Builders projects come to completion. Noted for his eagerness to always go the extra mile, Steven excels in meeting and even exceeding his clients’ schedules and budgets.
Professional Experience
In the beginning of his career in the building and development industry, Steven served as Project Manager and Superintendent for a large variety of commercial and industrial projects, ground-up construction, and tenant improvements throughout Southern California. It was here that he found a passion in seeing a project go from conception to a completed and functioning building, facility or business. Steven spent 25 years building a portfolio of successful projects including: Embassy Suites Hotel in Anaheim, CA; Fuji Natural Foods in Ontario, CA; and Fountain Valley Hospital Intensive Care Nursery in Fountain Valley, CA.
Since joining Orr Builders in 2003, Steven has proven himself time and again to be a man of quality, dependability, and integrity. He has served on a great variety of projects and finds himself enjoying the passion of creation with each new beginning. Some of his projects include: MSA Consulting, Inc. in Rancho Mirage, The Colonnade in Palm Desert, El Paseo Collections in Palm Desert, and Desert Commercial Bank in Indian Wells. Some of the projects Steven has worked on throughout the Southern California region include: Embassy Suites, Marriott, and Hilton hotels plus reputable companies, such as, Oscar Mayer, Louisville Slugger, UBS Financial Services and mini-storage facilities.
Personal Life
Steven believes in always taking pride in what he does and carrying out his life with a high degree of character. He enjoys strong family values and spending time with his wife, three children and grandson. In his free time you can find Steven spending time in the great outdoors, hunting, fishing, snowboarding and water skiing.
